Introduction

The Centre for Academic and Faculty Enrichment (C.A.F.E.) provides teaching and learning expertise, leadership, and support to faculty at Durham. Our goal is to foster relationships with faculty to empower them to create a richer learning environment, whether it is in the classroom or online. We support teaching and learning, curriculum development, as well as teaching with technology.

The Centre also champions the introduction of new learning technologies and promotes an ongoing, campus-wide dialogue about Web-centric instructional technology and its role in learning. The Centre offers access to highly qualified staff, a variety of computer and multimedia equipment as well as one-on-one training sessions.

We are committed to helping faculty in engaging their students through active learning.

Whether you are a novice or seasoned faculty member we’re sure you’ll find something on this site to assist you in your teaching challenges. We’d love to hear from you.

The Centre for Academic & Faculty Enrichment (C.A.F.E.), more commonly known as the Enrichment Centre, is a resource for the faculty of Durham College.

This section is designed to introduce you to the staff, determine who can assist you, and proudly show off some of the kinds of projects we’ve developed in the past.

Please don’t hesitate to contact us to have a conversation about teaching & learning, technology, or curriculum development. We love to hear about your success stories and your challenges.
