In order to target our professional development efforts and to assist faculty in developing their skills we have defined a set of Durham College Faculty Teaching Skills and Abilities. 
This skill set represents the skills required by a faculty teaching in the post secondary environment in the 21st century.
If you would like to find out your levels in these skills and abilities we’ve developed a self-assessment web site. This site has a series of questions on each skill area and is totally anonymous. Try it out and see where you stand. The results will also suggest some ways for you to grow.
